Kindly be advised that the Hotel Grand Mercure Roxy’s swimming pool will be temporarily closed due to upgrading and refurbishment works that will take place from 26th September 2011 and is expected to be completed at a minimum of 3 weeks.
For the time being, hotel is suggesting two alternatives:
The swimming pool at Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay
AND
Katong Swimming Complex.
Novotel Singapore Clark Quay is located at 177A River Valley Road and reachable within 15 minutes by taxi from the hotel. The swimming pool’s operating hours starts from as early as 6.00 am until 10.30 pm. It’s a 25 meter long family-friendly swimming pool.
Katong Swimming Complex is located at 111 Wilkinson Road and only 5 minutes by taxi from the Hotel. This complex has been the preferred choice for several national swimming teams that have stayed with the hotel recently during international competitions in Singapore. It has an Olympic size swimming pool (50 x 21 meters) open from 8.00 am – 9.30 pm daily except on Tuesday, from 2.30 pm – 9.30 pm.
Please note that transport fees to both locations and entry fees to Katong Swimming Complex will be fully reimbursed by the Hotel. Hotel's Concierge team will assist you with all the necessary arrangements.
