We would like to update you with some really useful informations for Thailand.
During the past week Thailand has experienced heavy rain and as a result some areas have a lot of flooding especially Ayuthaya and some part of the north of Bangkok. Therefore, all tours to Ayuthaya have closed until further notice. Please note that the majority of the tourist areas (Chiangmai, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Kanchanburi, Phuket, Krabi, Samui including Bangkok) are not affected at the moment.
Please check your bookings on hand and kindly urgently inform clients on cancellation of tour to Ayuthaya if any (both by land and by cruise). The rest of tours in Bangkok and nearby such as Damnernsaduak Floating Market, Coral Island Pattaya, Temples Tour in Bangkok, and Dinner Cruise in Bangkok still operate as normal.
Moreover, kindly update situation about flood in Thailand where affect to hotels as follow:
-> Ayuthaya: Cannot contact all hotels. After checking with TAT, flood high level spread all area in Ayuthaya.
-> Nakhonpathom: Parndhevi Riverside reported that water level is still increasing continuously; the management is deciding to close booking 13 -14 October 2011 but will keep update officially.
Rose Garden Riverside, will keep update situation.
-> Kamphaengphet: Chakungrao Riverview, we cannot contact this hotel during this renew contract process, however status in system is still "On Request".
-> Sukhothai: Flood situation cover in City Center Area only which is not affected in resorts that we are listing. For travelling, they recommend visitors use 'Bypass' routing. All resorts still operate as usual.
-> Pitsanulok: Flood situation cover Bang Rakam sub district last month, no affected to hotels/resorts in our listing. To travel there, recommend use super highway via Chainat to northern part. All resorts still operate as usual.
-> Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai: No flood situation, all hotels/resorts operate as usual.
We will keep monitoring the situation and provide updates where necessary.
